 Hello realmrunners - I’m back this week with another dive into one of my custom Palettes, this time focusing on a very basic strategy headed up one of the first Legendaries to come out, Cara Curdle . Here’s the list. The plan is quite simplistic really; throw down a lot of Characters back up with good control options to deal with anything bigger your opponent puts out and use your resolves that benefit off of your wide boardstate to hit 30 shards. Now let’s look at the individual cards. Cara Curdle - Face of the Palette. She helps you double down on your resolves while giving you a lot of prevent and making it harder for Achrom cards to interact with your Canvas. Detective Huxon - Gains you more shards the more cards you have on your canvas, perfect fit for this strategy. Detective Vraxea - Gives your smaller Characters a bit more survivability or can even allow you to be more aggressive with them.  Rabid Dog - Poisonous Character to help with board control. Hello realmrunners, hope you’re all doing well - tomorrow is upon us; Dragon Riders Day down at Five Realms Gaming Lounge! I will be down from early on for anyone who fancies getting in a few games throughout the evening. I’ve also put together some boxes full of every card from each of the realms so, if you want to, you can try your hand at putting together a custom palette for a couple of games with complete freedom!  Hello realmrunners, well it’s been a fair amount of time hasn’t it! Hope you’ve been doing well since I last wrote! With the upcoming event on the 21st of August dedicated to Dexter Master of Dragons I naturally started to look more into options of custom builds from Draco planum and realised something; one thing I’ve never seriously done is take a crack at a more Sacrifice focused build and, after some tinkering, I quickly remembered why. With the aim of the game being driven by your cards’ resolve effects, using them up as fodder for some of your abilities might seem counter-intuitive as you can’t win as quickly; but building and piloting this style of custom Palette requires you to play with a very different style - absolute control over the Canvas and grinding down your opponents’ best resources.  Hello realmrunners and welcome to a look at another of my custom Palette builds! This time I thought I'd look into making one based around arguably one of the strongest keywords in the game so far; Freeze , as, surprisingly, despite all my toying with the cards from The Last Snow Dragons of Altari, I've never actually built a Palette focused on it; its just always been a support ability. So without further ado here's the list. The strategy is pretty obvious from face value; use your built-in synergies within your cards to bring your Shard Bank up to 30 while all your Freeze abilities prevent your opponent from doing the same or doing any significant damage to your shard total.  Hello realmrunners and welcome to another Card Highlight!  Today I thought I’d go into one particular Object that has a couple of interesting applications in the Draco realm; Materno’s Egg . The key thing to take away from this card is how you use it; in a Palette full of dragons it's effectively extra card advantage that then allows you to deploy an extra Character without paying for it and outside of your 3 card deployment limitation. However what I really want to focus on is how this one card makes two particular dragons a lot more consistent to get hold of; enter Harusk and Materno . Both of these cards have some incredible abilities that are made even stronger when taking into account the Dispose effect of Materno's Egg can be used on your opponent's turn, therefore enabling you to get them online in reaction to a play they make rather than waiting for your turn to come round. Today I’m bringing you one that’s not optimised as such but I wanted to take a shot at giving some light to a card that sees incredibly little play despite having some real potential; Awaken the Guardians . So without further ado here’s the list. The main aim of the deck is to put down a high number of locations, steadily ramping its gain thats generally harder to remove, then slap down Awaken the Guardians (or to a lesser extent Spiral Traitorius ) to gain the last chunk of shards needed to win the game. Hello realm runners and welcome to yet another breakdown of one of my custom Palettes! Today I thought I’d look at one of my old favourite legendaries from the first Spirata set, The Fall of Flutterby, and suit him up with the support we received in the newer set. So here he is, leading the Pixies, it’s Spiral Traitorius . The strategy is pretty simple for this one really; put down a lot of Pixies then use Spiral Traitorius or Achrom Factory to get a big Steal or Drain to win with a healthy amount of cards to help you control the Canvas. So let’s look at the cards themselves. Spiral Traitorius - Here to rack up a strong resolve. Every Character you’re looking to deploy boost it so shouldn’t be hard to get him to pay for himself the turn he’s deployed.  Hello everyone and welcome to another Custom Palette Showcase! On the topic of the Norso realm, I thought I’d take this opportunity to show my take on the, arguably, most competitive Palette to come out of the realm so far; Norso Traders. So here’s the list I use. As you can guess from the name, the strategy is pretty straightforward; do a lot of Trading to bring yourself up to 30 shards. The recent rules change, which limits the amount you can Trade for in your Start & End steps to a maximum of 6 shards, has made a minor impact on this Palette however there are so many cards in here that either give you extra shards when you Trade or the ability to Trade outside of your Start and End steps that it doesn’t do as much damage to it as it may do other strategies. Today I though I'd take a slightly different approach as I thought I'd share my Secret  palette based around Lord Eldrich Willard  however, given the different ways you can approach utilising Secret  as a strategy, which I discussed in my Keyword Highlight article here , I thought I'd present show the slight differences in each approach that you can take with it. So without further ado let's start with my personal favourite and the original plan for this article; stealing your opponent's resources with Lord Eldrich Willard . As stated earlier, this Palette aims to take advantage of stealing your opponent's resources before they even get to see them and control those they are able to deploy. This time I thought I’d visit a theme that occasionally has some real success and that’s basing your palette around a specific shard colour. With The Last Snow Dragons of Altari came a lot of Cyan-coloured support along with a good amount of creatures that shared some really good synergy as well so I decided to take a shot at building something to take advantage of this so here’s my Cyan based list. Overall it’s a simple plan; put all the Cyan coloured cards out and reap the benefits of all your boosted resolves to win by Chroma. There’s also a small protection package to make your Characters more durable. So let’s go over the individual cards.
