 Hello realmrunners and welcome back. Well The Monsters of Norso is now literally only 3 days away! As a little teaser to get all of us geared up tor it, I’ve been sent a couple of complete card spoilers to share with you all. So without further ado here are 2 of the new cards coming at you in The Monsters of Norso, starting with a returning favourite of mine! Leif and Tufter still together! Yes it’s our old friend Leif of Lacringi  from The Warriors of Wishwell and he’s had quite a boost, in my opinion! It’s a very simplistic ability; you gain 2 shards whenever you deploy a card. But then you look at what this means in the bigger picture; this essentially results in all cards you deploy having a psuedo-reduction of 2 shards, so cards that seemed expensive before feel a lot more playable and all of your smaller costing cards are completely free, if not better because of their own resolves! Hello realmrunners - today was a very special delivery day at Five Realms Gaming Lounge as, after much waiting, the new booster boxes for Achroma finally arrived. Realm Runner Studios very generously gave me a whole box to myself so I could give you guys a full account of just what you can expect out of it!  From first impressions it’s clear there’s been deeper planning behind this product than the initial run of boosters we received last year, which is great to see; the artwork is a lot more refined and the box itself is adorned with the realms’ symbols as well as a detailed blurb laying out the basic overarching story of Achroma, as well as a QR code which takes you to a Linktree  for all the relevant Achroma pages related to the game. The boosters themselves are still made from paper but they look and feel far more refined than their predecessors.  Hello realmrunners - today I'm going to to be taking a deeper delve into a recent reveal from the upcoming set Monsters of Norso; this is Drengora, The Fierce . Along with the art this comes with the flavour line ' The Monsters aren't the only force to be reckoned with in Norso Planum... ' so, whatever faction the Monsters themselves are on (most likely Achrom I'd expect) this will be from a different faction so it's probably quite safe to assume that from the style of the art, along with this bit of text, we can expect that Drengora will be a more Chroma-aligned character, although whether they're mixed or fully Chroma is yet to be seen. What else can we gather from all this though? Well given that it's a named Character they're going to be Heroic for sure and potentially a key one in their faction - whether that be canonically or within the faction's game mechanic is yet to be seen however.  Hello there realmrunners and welcome to you all! With the 2025 roadmap recently being shared by the Achroma team I thought I'd go over what they're talking about and put my own thoughts and feelings out there on it all. Winter Here they're looking at rolling out the Chapter 1 booster products - this will see all 4 chronicles, along with the Rise of the Realm Runners expansions, dished out into randomised boosters rather than the pre-done Unlimited boxes that were originally available before. While there has already been a lot of back and forth on this subject and the pros and cons of it, it's the way all of us TCG players have seen cards being released for a very, very long time in other games so I can understand the shift in product style from their perspective. On the plus side though boosters will contain a mixture of unlimited, first edition and alt art cards in them so, even for the more experienced players, there's still good reason to grab them.  Hello realmrunners and a happy new year to you all!  I hope you’ve all had a fantastic festive season. I’m finally finding the time to get back into it (Christmas in hospitality is fun, what can I say!) so I thought I’d start with a quick look at the most recent art sneak peeks to come out of The Monsters of Norso, that being The Chimera and The Crescendo . First off we have The Chimera . I’ll make it no secret; that art is incredible! You can already tell its going to be quite a strong Achrom Character from the stance but the question is what could its ability be? I can’t help but notice similarities in the stance to Umbra Igneus from The Siege of Draco Temple, pictured below, which makes me think it’ll have something combat-related in its ability. Maybe something that will trigger when it attacks or inflicts damage? Or even when it Erases something through combat? Onto the second Character; we have The Crescendo .  Hello and welcome realmrunners! As we’re now well into sneak peek season for the up and coming Monsters of Norso the content creators of the community are starting to get our own individual cards to look over. So here’s the first piece I have - just some artwork to get us started off; The Minotaur’s Domain . Along with the artwork I’ve got the following little bit of lore to go with it - “The Minotaur resides here when he isn't out wandering the labyrinth.”  So what we know for sure is that it’s a Location that directly relates to ‘The Minotaur’ whom I suspect features in the set’s cover art. First impression I get from this art is that it’s very dark and misty, so most likely Achrom-leaning if not fully Achrom. It’s also giving me a very similar sort of feel to cards like Murky Manor  or Throne Room from the other realms; a very foreboding and shadowy building that’s most likely to be related to a very dark Character.
