Card Highlight - Eirik of Lacringi

 Hello to you all Realm Runners snd welcome to another Card Highlight article!

Today I thought I’d look into a card that has a very powerful status is any object-based palette in the Norso Realm; Eirik of Lacringi.


Costing 4 shards and with no resolve, you’d think he’s not the most impressive character around, however his ability makes it well worth it. Having the ability to both Find and Dig for objects is incredibly valuable; it allows you to trade an object for its shards then deploy Eirik of Lacringi to get it straight back and a bonus object from your palette! Let’s also not forget all those incredibly powerful Realm Relics are objects as well, so this could easily grab you any of the following rare cards that can be very strong in the right scenarios.

Let’s also not forget how this can synergise very well with all of those objects you use with Dispose abilities; Eirik of Lacringi gives you the ability to replay them for even more value, or at worst have them as trade fodder if you’d rather have the character on board.

On top of this he further synergises with several cards from the Lacringi faction in Warriors of Wishwell which mean that, even though Eirik of Lacringi himself has no resolve, he can increase other cards’ effects purely due to his Hulder Troll subtype.


All-in-all, if you’re building an object focused palette in Norso, Eirik of Lacringi needs to be almost an auto-include as it provides with incredible searching power, recursion for your erased objects and even something that’s decent trade value as well if you need it. 

You’ll find this card in the Lacringi Shield Maidens palettes from Warriors of Wishwell which are still available as First Editions and Collectors Editions on the Achroma Store!

A First Look - Monsters of Norso

 Hello and welcome realmrunners! As we’re now well into sneak peek season for the up and coming Monsters of Norso the content creators of the community are starting to get our own individual cards to look over. So here’s the first piece I have - just some artwork to get us started off; The Minotaur’s Domain . Along with the artwork I’ve got the following little bit of lore to go with it - “The Minotaur resides here when he isn't out wandering the labyrinth.”  So what we know for sure is that it’s a Location that directly relates to ‘The Minotaur’ whom I suspect features in the set’s cover art. First impression I get from this art is that it’s very dark and misty, so most likely Achrom-leaning if not fully Achrom. It’s also giving me a very similar sort of feel to cards like Murky Manor  or Throne Room from the other realms; a very foreboding and shadowy building that’s most likely to be related to a very dark Character. Competitive Talk - Palette Archetypes

Hello realm runners and welcome! It’s been a hot minute since I did any competitive-based articles; since before the last GT actually, so thought it was about time to revisit them. As Achroma’s card-pool expands we start to see palettes across every realm that have similar playstyles or gameplans in how they are going to hit 30 shards or drain their opponents down to 0. For anyone already involved in the competitive scene of card gaming this topic is already a known thing; Archetypes .
