 Hello realmrunners and welcome to another Card Highlight!  Today I thought I’d go into one particular Object that has a couple of interesting applications in the Draco realm; Materno’s Egg . The key thing to take away from this card is how you use it; in a Palette full of dragons it's effectively extra card advantage that then allows you to deploy an extra Character without paying for it and outside of your 3 card deployment limitation. However what I really want to focus on is how this one card makes two particular dragons a lot more consistent to get hold of; enter Harusk and Materno . Both of these cards have some incredible abilities that are made even stronger when taking into account the Dispose effect of Materno's Egg can be used on your opponent's turn, therefore enabling you to get them online in reaction to a play they make rather than waiting for your turn to come round.  Good day realmrunners and happy Valentine’s Day! In the spirit of all things couple-y I thought I’d just quickly highlight a few pairs of cards that go really well together as a combo! So without further ado, in realm order, here we go. Salum Countess Issadora Curdle & Occultist Den - Makes Issadora easy Trade fodder or means she effectively pays for herself. Moonveil Harpy & The Bay of Mysteries - With harpy being a ‘Sea’ Character you can Dig it easily to replay it and get repeatable value out of its Action. Captain Cassius & Hinkley the Navigator - Cassius gives all your Characters Divert, Hinkley does the same for your Locations which means Cassius then effectly gives you +1 for almost every card on your Canvas and they can protect each other from targeting abilities. Given my last article's topic of a fan-favourite Legendary from The Curse of Curdle Hill, today I thought I'd go into a real banger of a Palette utilising mostly cards from that set with a few others in the mix from latter sets that have boosted it somewhat, so without further ado; here's the list. The main strategy of the Palette is to get to Hex Clunker asap, hence the two actions taking up a couple of rare slots, then grab & recycle Objects to give you the ability to control the state of your opponent's Canvas which will allow you to grind their resources for a win. So let's look at each card individually. Hex Clunker - The key card to the whole Palette's strategy needs no real introduction. Being able to Find or Dig  your Objects plus playing it for free can cause some insane power plays for no real cost. This time I thought I'd rewind the clock a fair amount and go right back to The Curse of Curdle Hill for this one, the original set that started it all, to cast more of a detailed light on a firm favourite Character that has been present for Achroma's entire lifespan; Countess Issadora Curdle . You may well be wondering why I've chosen her to go over but hear me out; a lot of people will often mentally confine her to the occultist faction and merely see her as a powerful achrom Legendary but there's more to the self-proclaimed leader of Curdle than that. That being said let's address the more obvious synergies she has first.
